Staten Island, New York (NewYorkInjuryNews.com) — The weekend death of a Hicksville infant girl is being investigated by Nassau police and it appears that the girl was accidentally drowned. However, police are continuously investigating the case for any other possibility other than accidental drowning. According to the office Ruby Siozios, a four months old child was at her home on Saturday when Nassau police received an emergency call that the baby was not breathing.

When the police reached their home, the mother of the four month old baby, Leah Beabout, 30 was performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation on the child in order to revive her who was earlier in the bathtub. The baby was immediately taken to the Nassau University Medical Center, East Meadow by the ambulance of Nassau police. However, the staff doctor pronounced the death of the child at 10:22 AM on Saturday.

However, the matter is still being looked over by the Nassau police and they will be investigating the matter in detail before making any final judgment upon the case of death by drowning case. In the man time, a medial examiner from Suffolk County will be making a final report while taking account of all considerations before making a final decision in his report.

It seems that the police are leaving no stone unturned while determining the exact cause for the death of the four month old infant that has died due to the accidental drowning. Even the final report by the Suffolk County’s medial examiner’s report is awaited as he wishes to take consideration of all aspects of death before reaching on any final conclusion that leads to accidental death by drowning.
