New York City, NY (New York Injury News ) — A voluntary recall has been announced by the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) for Sterling Silver Teething rings manufactured by Brooklyn based company, Empire Silver Company of Brooklyn, New York. The recall of approximately 1,000 teething rings is due to the discovery of a potential choking hazard to infant children. The products have been sold nationwide in department stores and other specialty gift retailers for up to $120. Those in possession of the teething rings are advised to return them to their place of purchase in exchange for a replacement item, or refund.
