New York City personal injury law firm, Sullivan Papain Block McGrath & Cannavo P.C., is proud to announce its participation in “Lee National Denim Day”. All proceeds generated from the event will go into breast cancer research. The firm will host the event on October 3, 2008.
As many of you may know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. According to the American Cancer Society: 1 in 8 women will develop breast cancer at some point in their life; 1 in 33 breast cancer sufferers will die from the disease; and about 182,460 new cases of invasive breast cancer will be diagnosed among women in the United States this year alone.
Each year, Lee Jeans sponsors Denim Day. In exchange for a $5 donation to breast cancer research, an employee can wear jeans to work for one day. All companies are welcomed to participate in the event.
According to www.denimday.com, Lee National Denim Day has raised over $70 million in the fight against breast cancer since its inception. The event is backed by nearly one million supporters nationwide, annually.
