Jackson,MS(JusticeNewsFlash)–Traditions has participated in a Class I recall of an indefinite number of prepackaged meals in boxes. A Class I recall means consumption of the product can cause serious or adverse health risks. Traditions is a company located in Pearl, Mississippi. The company specializes in prepackaged frozen meals. The recall was issued after the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) www.usda.gov notified the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) www.fda.gov of Salmonella found in the dairy product. U.S. Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) www.fsis.usda.gov federal regulators announced the recall on July 1, 2009.
