Perth Amboy construction worker dies after forklift pins man on site.
Newark, NJ(JusticeNewsFlash.com)–A Perth Amboy construction worker died on Monday from injuries he sustained during a construction accident on Sunday. The accident occurred while the man was working at a construction site on Miller Street for the North East Construction Company, as reported by NJ.com. The construction worker, identified as Martin Tabaka, 27, reportedly suffered a puncture wound in the groin area when he became pinned between a forklift and another piece of construction equipment.
Tabaka was reportedly flown by helicopter to the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick for treatment of his traumatic work place injuries. The injured construction worker remained under the supervision of medical professionals until he was pronounced dead at 12:02 a.m. on Monday. According to Middlesex County investigators, the federal Occupation Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) http://www.osha.gov was notified of the tragic accident, as required by federal employment laws, and are currently conducting an investigation.
