Helicopter crashes on M.D highway I-70, kills 4

Hagerstown, Maryland (NewYorkInjuryNews.com)—Helicopter donates time to help at charity function for trouble teens Thursday night and then crashed on the Maryland I-70 highway leaving no survivors, announced by Associated Press.
The pilot, who had flight experience, was carrying 2 employees along with a friend when it crashed, stated sources.  It was questionable if the foggy weather had played a part in the pilot’s judgment when he flew so close to the power lines; however the cause of the crash is still undetermined. The helicopter reportedly began a dangerous descent over the highway and flew into some nearby power lines, landed in the eastbound lanes of I-75 and exploded into flames. Fortunately, there were not any other vehicles involved with the explosion. Soon after the crash, firefighters were on the scene after receiving news of the accident.  The Helicopter pilot was an employee of Advanced Helicopter Concepts, a company that specializes in flight training, photography and selling of the aircrafts, as noted on its web page.
The east bound lanes have since reopened after the crew cleared the wreckage early Friday morning. The names of the victims will not be released to the public until the families of the victims are contacted, announced police authorities who are still investigating the case. The bodies were transported to the Medical examiner in Baltimore, sources stated.
