California lawyers specializing in criminal law alert- Kaiser Permanente and California doctor sued for negligent supervision and sexual assault.

Anaheim, CA—Medical group, Kaiser Permanente and a California doctor, David Hung Do are named in a sexual assault lawsuit. According to the suit, the doctor sexually assaulted three former patients. The lawsuit further alleges the medical group failed to fire the doctor after they were notified of previous assault complaints, as reported by the Orange County Register.

The alleged victim, Jessica Moran, 32, of San Juan Capistrano says she was sexually assaulted by Dr. Do, 39, of Garden Grove. Moran claims the incident occurred when she visited him with her mother to have her strained neck evaluated, which she sustained in an automobile crash. Moran claims Dr. Do inappropriately felt her breasts during her neck examination. When Moran allegedly confronted the doctor, he denied everything. Moran then contacted police about the incident, and was later told by investigators that two other women reported similar incidents involving the doctor to Kaiser. Dr. Do was arrested in December 2008 and was fired from Kaiser shortly after. The alleged sexual assaults happened between July 2007 and June 2008. The lawsuit charges Kaiser Permanente and Dr. Do with professional negligence, medical battery, negligent supervision, retention and sexual harassment. Moran is also claiming emotional distress as a result of the sexual assault. The California doctor is scheduled to appear in court on August 31, 2009 for a pre-trail hearing.
