Philadelphia, PA–The Philadelphia Business Journal reported Tuesday morning, TD Bank Senior Vice President, Frank Papotto, died after suffering a traumatic brain injury (TBI) on a South Jersey golf course last Friday. Papotto, a 46 year-old Moorestown, New Jersey resident, fell from a moving golf cart at the Rancocas Country Club Golf Course in Willingboro, on Friday, as reported by the Philadelphia Inquirer.

The New Jersey TD Bank executive, formerly Commerce Bank, fell from the moving golf cart around 6 p.m. on Friday while he was enjoying a round with fellow golfer, Joseph Dey, a Lieutenant with the Willingboro Township Police Department. Papotto was airlifted by emergency medical services (EMS) personnel to Cooper University Hospital. He was later pronounced dead, and the Burlington County Medical Examiner’s Office listed the cause of death as head trauma. The Medical Examiner ruled the tragic event an accident. The Robert Trent Jones Sr., golf course, Rancocas Country Club, is a public golf course that opened in South Jersey in 1966 in Burlington County.
