Maryland Motorcycle Accident Attorney reports on a motorcyclist who was was taken to Albany Medical Center for severe trauma due to car accident involving NY driver.
Clifton Park, MD (NewYorkInjuryNews.com) — A man riding a motorcycle was hit by a car Tuesday Aug 4, 2009, reported Albany Times Union.The scene of the fatal accident occurred late afternoon when the motorcyclist was traveling eastbound on Kinns Road.
In Clifton Park, on Twilight drive, a car traveling westbound made a sharp turn cutting the motorcyclist off. The motorcyclist lost control of the bike and was ejected off, throwing his safety helmet off his head.
Police identified the motorcyclist as 27-year-old Zachery Hill. Paramedics quickly attended to the man who sustained severe trauma to his head lying on the pavement. The driver of the vehicle was recognized as 79-year-old Abraham Povony resident of Brooklyn, reported police.
Zachery Hill was a newlywed and was expecting a child with his wife, Lauren Hill. Emergency Medical Services transported Zachery to the Albany Medical Center where doctors and nurses treated him for life-threatening wounds.
He was treated for several days until his injuries proved fatal Monday morning. Abraham Pavony was issued a ticket for his failure to yield. He will be summonsed to appear in Clifton Park Town Court in late August.
