Massachusetts personal injury lawyer news – Bus heading to children’s summer camp crashed into by a tractor trailer from behind.
Boston, MA (NewYorkInjuryNews.com) — In Bristol County, a car crashed into a Camp bus loaded with children en route to summer camp in Rehoboth Friday morning, announced The Boston Channel.
Eyewitnesses reported the Camp bus carrying many young children- ages 6 through 12- had collided with a tractor trailer on Route 44. Police officials along with Medical Personnel arrived to treat those who suffered injuries due to the crash. Emergency Medical Services transported 6 children to the local Hasbro Children’s Hospital in Providence to be treated for minor injuries.
The tractor trailer crashed into the Camp bus when the bus braked to let a vehicle in front of him turn. The bus was traveling to Camp Ramsbottom in Rehoboth when the accident occurred. The truck driver claimed that the sun had impaired his vision.
The accident remains open for detectives to investigate all the factors regarding the accident. The driver of tractor trailer has not been charged as of yet. Police are taking into account all the surrounding factors involved in the crash.
The 40 children that were not injured headed on to Summer Camp Ramsbottom.
