Hillsborough, NJ (NewYorkInjuryNews.com) – In Somerset County, New Jersey, three adults and 1 child were involved in a three-car wreck on Dukes Parkway, announced the Star-Ledger.
Authorities reported that the serious three-vehicle crash happened when one car going eastbound on Dukes Parkway collided with another vehicle going the other direction on the highway. Shortly after the two-car crash, the two damaged vehicles were struck by a third vehicle traveling westbound. The accident occurred in Somerset County near Route 206.
Emergency Medical Services (EMS) arrived on the scene of the accident to treat the injured. Two out of the three adults needed to be airlifted to the nearby medical treatment center to be taken care of by doctors and nurses due to the impact of the head on collision, stated Somerset authorities.
The third adult involved in the tragic crash sustained minor injuries and did not require further medical attention. The identities and the condition of the hospitalized or the injured people in the crash were not released as of yet. It was not announced as to whether the westbound lanes of Duke Parkway were closed. It was undisclosed about the condition of the child in the wreck. Police detectives continue to investigate.
