New York Motorcycle Accident Lawyers report a motorcyclist was hospitalized after crashing into an elderly living bus transporting 6 residents.
Haverhill, MA (NewYorkInjuryNews.com) – A motorcyclist crashed into an elderly unit bus driving residents from the North Andover senior neighborhood, announced the Eagle Tribune. Police announced that the 23-year-old motorcyclist was reportedly traveling south at the intersection of Route 125 and Ward Hill Connector.
Emergency Medical Services arrived on the scene to treat the injured in the crash. Paramedics transported the severely injured motorcyclist, whose name was not released for public knowledge, via helicopter to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in the Boston area.The officials of the Haverhill Police Department are collaborating with professional detectives to lead the investigation to determine the cause for this accident.
The motorcycle crashed into the bus transporting elderly residents Wednesday evening in the middle of the Ward Hill Connector intersection on Route 125. The condition of the young biker has not been announced. The bus was property of the assisted living facility Ashland Farm. One of the supervisors of Ashland Farm, Ellen Roach, was operating the bus with 6 elderly residents on board with 2 aids. The bus was traveling north and then turned to head west at the time of the accident.
The bus was damaged and dented from the motorcycle. Reports about possible injuries on among the elderly, the aids or the driver are undetermined. An investigation is in progress.
