New Jersey Aviation Accident Lawyer reports- A small aircraft made an emergency landing in Essex County and injured pilot and passenger in the crash.
Rockaway Township, NJ (NewYorkInjuryNews.com) — In Rockaway, New Jersey a small plane crash landed near in the New Jersey Rockaway Townsquare Mall center near a “Toys R Us” on Tuesday, announced New York Daily News.
The plane crash injured both the passenger and pilot who slowly moved out of the broken aircraft. The small plane identified as a 30 year-old 1-engine Cessna was en route to Essex County, before it crash-landed in the parking lot of the mall in Morris County. The pilot and female passenger were transported to the hospital via emergency medical services for minor injuries.
The small plane experienced difficulties in the engine, which made the pilot land immediately. The plane crashed through some trees before scraping its belly against the pavement.
“I was freaking out because there’s a plane right in front of me,” La Marco added. “It’s not like you see this every day, a plane crashed right in front of you.” Sources stated that the front end of the plane was damaged to a degree. This emergency crash landing has been one of three small aircraft’s that required an emergency landing before reaching their destination in the three weeks.
