New York Motorcycle Accident Attorneys post bulletin that a motorcycle passenger was seriously injured after being thrown off of the bike and smashed into guardrail on Buffalo highway.
Buffalo, NY (NewYorkInjuryNews.com) — A woman from Niagara Falls suffered serious injuries after being thrown at a guardrail from a motorcycle while the driver attempted to evade crashing into another motorcycle on the highway, announced Buffalo News.
Officials reported the 37-year-old woman to be a resident of Niagara Falls, New York and that she was riding as a passenger on the back of a motorcycle when she was catapulted off when the driver suddenly made a quick maneuver to evade a crash with another motorcyclist.
The woman suffered serious injuries from crashing into the guardrail on the Route 198 also known more commonly as Scajaquada Expressway, which runs mainly through the city of Buffalo.
Police officials did not disclose the name of the woman to the public as of yet, so that those closest to her will be notified first. The motorcycle driver was identified as 38-year-old Andre Dolson, resident of Niagara Falls. The accident took place around 12:45 am early Wednesday morning in the westbound lanes of the highway.
Emergency medical services (EMS) arrived on the scene to transport the woman who sustained serious injuries to Erie County Medical Center. The driver, Dolson, was also injured in the crash. Police issued him a ticket for speeding.
