New York SUV Accident Attorney reports a 3 vehicle accident in New Hampshire involving a school bus injured 2 students and 2 drivers on Route 28.
Alton, NH (NewYorkInjuryNews.com) – Officials reported that a road was partially shut down due to a collision between a school bus and two other vehicles Thursday morning, reported Union-Leader.
The school bus heading northbound was transporting 22 students and amongst the three vehicles four people were seriously injured. A Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) swerved and crashed into the school bus around lunch time then collided head on with an Oldsmobile in the southbound lanes. Authorities reported the three vehicle accident to have taken place on Route 28. Rescue workers on the scene had to work to pull out the male driver of the Oldsmobile convertible safely out of his damaged vehicle.
Emergency medical services (EMS) arrived to treat and transport the 4 that were injured in the collision. Two prospective Mountain High School students were among the injured in the crash. They were both taken to the local hospital to be treated by doctors and nurses for their injuries.
The condition of the teens is not known. The drivers of the two other vehicles involved in the wreck were also transported by ambulance to a local hospital. Authorities believed that none of the injuries were life-threatening. Route 28 was closed due to the collision for a few hours. It reopened for normal traffic flow in the afternoon.
