Maryland Motorcycle Accident Lawyers report – Pennsylvania motorcyclist involved in crash with another motorcycle and a fiery van injured 6 and killed 1.
Calvert County, MD (NewYorkInjuryNews.com) — Two motorcyclist were riding along on Route 273 early Sunday evening when they collided after passing a vehicle close to Calvert County, announced the Philadelphia Inquirer.
After the motorcyclist crashed into one another, then one ratcheted colliding with a van in the opposite lanes of traffic. The van, carrying 4 adults and 2 children, was set ablaze by the crash.
After the van broke out into flames, a neighbor came went out to the scene and rescued all six of the people injured inside the van. Emergency medical officials (EMS) arrived to treat and transport the injured. Maryland police officials declared the motorcyclist that that crashed into the van to be dead at the scene of the accident. The first motorcyclist was identified as Robert May, 48, a resident of Nottingham, Pennsylvania.
The second motorcyclists along with the van’s driver were transported via Trauma helicopter into Baltimore Hospitals while four others traveling in the van were transported to Union Hospital in Elkton to be treated by doctors and nurses for their injuries. The condition of the six injured people involved in the crash has yet to be released.
