FDNY rescues man trapped under truck

New York Motor Vehicle Accident Lawyers report an injured man trapped in vehicle under flatbed truck rescued by firefighters in Staten Island.

Staten Island, NY (NewYorkInjuryNews.com) – a man driving his car in Staten Island was injured when he was trapped beneath a large flatbed truck in Elm Park, in Port Richmond, announced the Staten Island Advance.

The New York City Fire Department (FDNY) arrived to the scene to rescue the injured man from his crushed vehicle beneath the truck. Emergency medical services (EMS) responded to the accident in Elm Park to transport the badly injured man to the local hospital for treatment.

Firefighters managed to pull the severely injured driver out from underneath the flatbed truck in the Park while witnesses watched close to the scene of the accident. Police officials reported the accident to have taken place around 11 a.m. in the morning on Wednesday.

The crash was located at the crossroads of Granite Avenue and Walker Street in Staten Island. Paramedics transported the wounded man to the Richmond University Medical Center where he was treated by doctors and nurses for his injuries. Medical officials have not released the man’s condition. Police officials have not identified the man publicly as of yet.

Firefighters and bystanders were saying that the man had been pinned under the truck and that he was seriously injured due to the crash.
