Virginia State Police alerts Virginia personal injury attorney- Vehicle crash involving a school bus left a mother dead.
Orange, VA—A three-vehicle crash left one woman dead and injured eight others at the intersection of Route 20 and Zoar Road. The fatal accident occurred on Wednesday, September 2, 2009, at 7:30 a.m., as reported by Fredericksberg.com.
According to Virginia State Police, a 1996 two-door Mitsubishi, driven by Julie P. Loving, 44, of Montpelier, was turning from Zoar Road onto Route 20, when a 2005 Honda Accord traveling southbound on Route 20 hit the drivers side door of the Mitsubishi. The impact of the collision sent both cars careening into an Orange County School bus, which was waiting to turn onto Zoar Road with two students on board. Loving, and her two daughters, ages 5 and 15, were seriously injured and rushed by emergency medical services (EMS) crews to Mary Washington Hospital for treatment. Loving reportedly died while en route to the hospital. The 38-year-old driver of the school bus, and one 5-year-old student were transported by EMS personnel to Culpeper Regional Hospital for treatment. Another 9-year-old male student was uninjured, and was released to his parents at the scene of the crash. The 42-year-old female driver of the Accord, and a 13-year-old male, a 15-year-old male, and 17-year-old female passengers were also transported to Culpeper Regional Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries sustained in the crash. Police officials stated there will be no charges filed in connection with the crash, since Loving failed to yield the right of way.
