New Jersey man injured in 2-car crash on Garden State Parkway

Stafford Township, NJ (NewYorkInjuryNews.com) — A man from Tuckerton, in Ocean County New Jersey, was injured in a two-vehicle accident, announced the Press of Atlantic City.

Early Tuesday morning a Garden State Parkway crash sent one man to the hospital for injuries, reported New Jersey police officials.

New Jersey Deputies reported that one vehicle was heading northbound on the highway when another vehicle attempted to switch lanes and struck the first vehicle close to the 62.2 mile stop. Officials identified the driver of the first vehicle as 44-year-old Stephan Buck. After the second vehicle hit his car it swerved off the highway and flipped over landing back on the tires.

The driver of the other vehicle was identified as Brooklyn New York resident, 55-year-old Daphne Nichols. Emergency medical services (EMS) arrived on the scene to transport the injured. Officials reported that Buck was taken via trauma helicopter for pain in his back where he was treated at the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center by doctors and nurses.

Nichols and her three passengers did not sustain any injuries to note. She was issued a ticket for performing an unsafe lane change.
