Illinois automobile accident lawyers alerts- A Cook County car crash involving a Saturn and a Oldsmobile injured six.

Chicago, IL—A two-vehicle crash in the West Side’s Garfield Park neighborhood left six people seriously injured. The collision happened Wednesday evening, September 9, 2009 around 6:33 p.m., in the 300 block of North Hamlin Avenue, as reported by the Chicago Sun-Times.

Police reports stated, an emergency medical service (EMS) Plan 1 response was dispatched after a Saturn and a Oldsmobile crashed on North Hamlin Avenue. It is currently unknown how the collision occurred, or who was at fault. The EMS Plan 1 response automatically dispatches five ambulances to the scene of the collision. Area EMS crews reportedly transported six victims to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries sustained in the two-vehicle crash. Two other victims were also transported by EMS professionals to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital in Cook County. The two victims are reportedly in critical condition. In addition, EMS personnel rushed three additional victims to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital for treatment of their injuries. Attending medical professionals stated the three victims are currently in stable condition. Police officials have not released the identities, ages, and genders of the six victims at this time. Harrison Area detectives are conducting an investigation into the two-car crash.
