New Hampshire Motorcycle Accident Notice: 2 injured in motorcycle accident

In the town of Milton police reported a motorcycle accident where it crashed into a boat trailer injuring 2.

Rochester, NH (NewYorkInjuryNews.com) — A man and woman from the town of Milton suffered injuries after they were ejected off a motorcycle while attempting to avoid a crash with a pickup truck towing a boat trailer Sunday afternoon, announced the Union-Leader.

New Hampshire Strafford police and emergency rescue officials responded the scene of the accident. The accident took place around 3:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon when the Harley Davidson motorcycle approached the trailer from the rear where both vehicles were traveling on Washington Street known as Route 202 at the crossroad of Dry Hill Road.

The driver of the motorcycle was identified as 48-year-old Park Clegg Sr, along with his passenger, 52-year-old Jackie Norton, who were both transported by paramedics to the Frisbie Memorial Hospital where they were treated by doctors and nurses for their injuries. Medical officials reported the condition of the two people to not be life-threatening.

The driver of the 1998 Chevrolet 1500 pickup truck with the boat trailer was identified as 49-year-old Timothy Ashe, resident of Somersworth.

The truck began to make a turn onto Dry Hill Road where Clegg could not stop in time, so he swerved to evade a full on collision but could not regain control and he and his passenger were launched off the motorcycle. Motorcycle was towed away while the truck and trailer had little damage from the crash. Strafford County police are investigating the accident. The intersection was shut down for 3 hours following the crash.
