Legal news for Massachusetts SUV rollover lawyers– An SUV rollover crash on the Massachusetts toll road in Worchester County critically injured the driver.
Framingham, MA (NewYorkInjuryNews.com) – A driver traveling down the Massachusetts toll road was seriously injured when his Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) rolled over on Sunday afternoon, announced the MetroWest Daily News.
Massachusetts State troopers along with emergency medical services (EMS) arrived at the scene of the rollover accident. The SUV rollover crash took place between Exit 12 and the Framingham rest stop area and it landed in the left lane of traffic on its side.
Paramedics transported the injured driver to the UMass Memorial Center located in Worchester to be treated by doctors and nurses for his injuries. Police did not disclose the man’s identity so that they may contact the family first to make them aware of the situation.
The man was driving a 2000 Ford Explorer heading westbound when he rolled over on the highway around 4 p.m. Fire rescue officials had to extricate the man out of his damaged vehicle by cutting the trapped driver out.
The driver was not traveling with passengers at the time. Police closed off the two left hand lanes of traffic to perform a thorough investigation and to determine what made the driver lose control of his SUV. Traffic resumed normal flow in the early evening. The troopers had originally requested that the driver be airlifted to a hospital, but weather did not permit.
