Connecticut School Bus crash injures 2!

Wallingford, CT (NewYorkInjuryNews.com) – A local town woman struck a school bus on East Center Street in New Haven County on Tuesday afternoon, announced the Record-Journal.

The woman driving her 1989 Buick LeSabre T-boned the school bus transporting children home from school. The driver, identified as 41-year-old Lisa Nastri was attempting to make a turn off the Interstate 91 at exit 14 when she crashed into the school bus.

Emergency medical services (EMS) responded to the scene of the accident to transport the injured. Lisa Nastri was immediately transported via ambulance to the Yale- New Haven Hospital for an emergency surgery. Police officials reported that she had lost a lot of blood in the crash. Medical officials announced that she was presently in a stable state.

It was not said when Nastri would be able to be discharged from the hospital, and her other relevant injuries were not disclosed. One of the students on board the school bus was identified as 15-year-old Lyman Hall, who sustained injuries in the crash. The Principle of her school commented saying that she will recover and that she is already feeling better.
