Police report three semi-trucks crash on Massachusetts turnpike in Weston Massachusetts.

Weston, MA (NewYorkInjuryNews.com) – The State Department of Public Health (DPH) www.mass.gov/dph investigated a crash that involved three semi trucks and one car on Massachusetts Turnpike, which unloaded mass quantities of beef across the roadway causing numerous traffic delays Monday, October 26, 2009, announced the Boston Herald.

The accident was reported to have occurred at 2:30 a.m. Monday morning. Massachusetts police reported that one semi crashed into another from behind at the east toll booth, which caused both of the truck to flip over and spill out their cargo across the highway. Then another semi and a car also was involved in the crash.

One of the semi truck’s crashed through a tollbooth at the Weston Tolls with the operator inside. However the operator escaped without injury. One of the trucks that flipped over dumped beef all over the highway. The two other semi trucks that were transporting tomatoes and paper goods, also spilled everything out in the collision. Only one driver was reported as injured and their name was not released.

Weston State Troopers redirected traffic on the highway and waved all vehicles through the tolls so cleanup crews could remove the beef and other debris off the roadway. The investigation continues.
