Edinboro, PA (NewYorkInjuryNews.com) – A two vehicle wreck fatally injured three male students at Edinboro University in western Pennsylvania on Wednesday, November 12, 2009, announced the Philadelphia Inquirer.
Pennsylvania police reported that the car was traveling south on Draketown Road, when it attempted to pass another vehicle, and crashed into an oncoming car. Police believe speed was a factor in the collision. The crash was reported to have occurred at 5:18 p.m. on Wednesday.
The tragic collision fatally injured 18-year-old Domenico Crea, resident of Erie, and 18-year-old John Eyrolles, resident of Pittsburgh. Police reported that neither teen was safety buckled in their seat.
The driver of the other vehicle, identified as 21-year-old Sheldon Harmon, resident of Bolivar, New York, who also suffered fatal injuries in the accident. Both of the vehicles had to be towed from the scene due to major damages. Police detectives continue to investigate the fatal wreck to determine what caused the crash.
The three young men reportedly attended Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, which is one of the 14 state-owned universities throughout Pennsylvania. The University is located 15 miles south of Erie, Pennsylvania.
