Her mother described her as “”PJ,” the beautiful, copper-haired girl” who was a former news reported of the Eagle-Tribune. twenty-five-year-old Penny Morang Richards was the passenger riding on the back of the motorcycle.

Late Thursday morning, in North Reading, a green and sliver pickup truck collided with the motorcycle at the intersection of
Lowell and High Streets. Local residents described that intersection as “dangerous”.  Penney Jean “PJ” Richards was declared dead at the scene along with the 32-year-old operator of the motorcycle.
