SUV accident attorneys alerts- A fatal crash involving a Ford station wagon and a Toyota SUV, injured five people.
Burlington, NC—A two-vehicle crash hospitalized five people, and killed on person on Tuesday, January 5, 2010. The motor vehicle collision (MVC) occurred around 4:15 p.m. at N.C. 54 and Saxapahaw Road near the Alamance-Orange county line, as reported by The Times News.
According to police officials, Steven Kimbrough, 51, of Cedar Grove, was driving 1995 Ford station wagon when he reportedly pulled out from Saxapahaw Road onto N.C. 54, which subsequently led to a collision with a 2004 Toyota SUV. The SUV, which was driven by Kimberly Money, 32, slammed into the driver’s side door of Kimbrough’s station wagon. Responding emergency rescue teams pronounced Kimbrough dead at the scene of the wreck. Money and her passengers, Maeleia Money, 12, and Jacob Murray, 4, were rushed by ambulance to UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill for treatment of their injuries. Two passengers who were riding in Kimbrough’s vehicle, Dakota Kimbrough, 14, and Savannah Kimbrough, 13, were also rushed to UNC Hospitals for treatment. Officials reported Money and the children are currently still hospitalized, but in stable condition. Police officials are conducting a full investigation into the fatal crash. No charges have been filed at this time.
