SUV accident attorneys alert- A crash involving a Dodge Durango, a PT Cruiser, and a semi-truck injured two people in Tulsa.

Tulsa, OK—Police officials are currently investigating a three-vehicle wreck, which let two people seriously injured on 46th Street near 129th East Avenue. Preliminary reports indicated the collision occurred around 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, January 6, 2009, as reported by KJRH.

Police officials reported a PT Cruiser driven by a 45 year-old man was traveling westbound on 46th Street North, at the same time as Dodge Durango, driven by a 43-year-old woman, was headed east. For unknown reasons, the PT Cruiser veered over the centerline and hit the Dodge head-on. A semi-truck that was following the Dodge was unable to stop in time to avoid the crash, and slammed into the PT Cruiser before careening off the side of the roadway. Both of the drivers of the PT Cruiser and Dodge sustained serious injuries in the wreck. They were rushed to an area hospital for treatment of their injuries by emergency medical services (EMS) teams. Tulsa firefighters reportedly used the jaws-of-life to extract the two seriously injured victims from their badly damaged vehicles. The driver of the semi-truck did not sustain any injuries in the crash. Police officials are trying to determine what caused the PT Cruiser to veer into oncoming traffic. No charges have been filed at this time.
