Salisbury, NH (NewYorkInjuryNews.com) – A two-vehicle crash turned fatal on Route 4 in Salisbury, which closed the road in both directions Sunday morning, January 10, 2010 announced WMUR-TV.

Police officials and medical personnel arrived at the scene of the crash on Route 4, also known as Old Turnpike Road between Boscawen and Calef Hill roads. New Hampshire State Troopers reported that one of the cars transporting four passengers was traveling east when it collided with a pickup truck. The truck crashed into the side of the car. It was reported that the car had veered to the right shoulder of the road and then the driver over-corrected and ended up in front of the pickup truck in the wrong lane.

An unidentified woman traveling in the car was pronounced dead at the scene. Medical personnel transported two more victims to the hospital for severe injuries. The forth person traveling in the car also sustained serious injuries in the crash. The driver of the truck suffered from minor injuries. All of the victims involved remained unidentified. Police anticipated that Route 4 would be closed off from traffic for hours. Police continue to investigate this fatal motor vehicle accident.
