Dallas, TX—During the 24th annual Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. parade on Monday, January 18, 2010, at least two teens were injured. The parade reportedly started at 10:00 a.m., at the intersection of MLK Boulevard and Lamar and was headed to the Fair Park in Dallas, as reported by WFAA-TV.
The teenagers were reportedly injured when a golf cart hit a barrier. Their injuries were reportedly not believed to be serious. The identities of the teens were not released, or if emergency medical services (EMS) teams transported them to a hospital for treatment. It was also not disclosed how or why the golf cart hit the barrier during the holiday parade.
