Legal news for Massachusetts truck accident attorneys – A tractor-trailer hit two vehicles and sent one woman to the hospital.
Danvers, MA (NewYorkInjuryNews.com) — A tractor-trailer was exiting off Interstate 95 north when it collided with an SUV causing it to roll over several times Tuesday, February, 9 ,2010.
After the semi truck collided with the 2000 Chevrolet Tracker, it clipped a 2007 Lexus sedan. Police arrived at the scene on Interstate 95 where the three vehicle accident occurred. Emergency medical services (EMS) reported to the scene where the damaged vehicles came to a rest. The Lexus went off into a snow bank in the embankment off the highway, while the SUV came to a halt facing the wrong direction, next to the semi truck.
Police identified the driver of the SUV to be 25-year-old Isabel Quiroz, who miraculously only sustained minor injuries in the truck crash. Police reported that she appeared to have sustained a head injury, which did not look serious. Emergency medical services (EMS) transported her to Beverly Hospital for doctors to treat her injuries. The driver of the Lexus, 50-year-old Gregory Klemmer remained unharmed in the crash.
Police identified the driver of the 1997 Freightliner as 36-year-old David Avila. He remained unharmed in the accident. The semi truck was from Jaspi Transport based out of Monroe Township, New Jersey. Some of the vehicles had to be towed from the scene as cleanup crews worked to remove the debris from the wreck off the road for traffic to get by. State police were handling the truck accident investigation.
