Montgomery County, PA (NewYorkInjuryNews.com) – A head-on collision in Lower Frederick Township claimed the life of two victims on Valentines Day, Sunday afternoon, February 14, 2010, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer. Pennsylvania State police rushed to the scene of the motor vehicle collision, which took place around 2:30 p.m. off of Game Farm Road. Police officials reported that a teenage driver traveling in a 2008 Hyundai Tiburon had veered into oncoming traffic where he struck 2004 BMW head-on.
The teenage driver, identified as 17-year-old Matthew Wesolowski, resident of Schwenksville, sustained fatal injuries in the crash and officials declared him to be dead at the scene. One of the passengers in the BMW, identified as 32-year-old Jodie Morales, resident of Souderton, was also tragically killed in the collision. Her husband and a 17-year-old passenger sustained potentially life-threatening injuries in the motor vehicle accident.
Emergency medical services (EMS) arrived at the fatal scene to transport the two injured survivors to an area hospital where doctors and nurses treated them for serious trauma. Pennsylvania State police continue to investigate the fatal and tragic motor vehicle collision (MVC) to determine all the factors involved and what caused the wreck.
