Florida truck accident lawyer alerts- PBSO responded to scene of pickup truck crash, in which two people suffered fatal injuries

Palm Beach County, FL—A single-vehicle collision caused two males, including a young teen, to suffer fatal injuries early Tuesday, March 30, 2010. The deadly accident occurred at Caloosa Boulevard in northwest Palm Beach County, Florida, according to information provided by the Palm Beach Post.

Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO) authorities received a report of a crash near the Beeline Highway at approximately 3:45 a.m., though the actual time of impact was unknown. According to Sgt. John Churchill, head of the PBCO traffic homicide division, tire tracks at the scene of the fatal wreck revealed the pickup truck involved in the incident “took a curve too wide”, causing the vehicle to veer off the roadway. Upon doing so, the truck hit an embankment and then careened into a canal.

Emergency medical services (EMS) personnel and rescue dive crews reportedly found one victim on the bridge and another in the water. Authorities identified the victims, who were both ejected on impact, as 27-year-old Jay Brandon Collins and 15-year-old Osvaldo Estemera. Relatives of the fatally injured victims were apparently at the scene after receiving notification of the accident, though they did not comment on the tragic event. Investigations into the pickup truck wreck are expected to continue.
