Arizona personal injury lawyers- A fall from a Hooters balcony injured a woman.
Phoenix, AZ—A female patron of a Hooters restaurant fell from a second story balcony, leaving her seriously injured. The woman fell on Wednesday night, April 7, 2010 in downtown Tempe, as reported by KPHO.
The woman, identified as Tabitha Farmer, 26, was reportedly sitting up on the guardrail of Hooters second story balcony, when she suddenly fell. Several witnesses stated that there were no indications that Farmer was pushed from the guardrail. Police officials couldn’t confirm how much, or if any alcohol was consumed by the injured woman before she made the terrifying fall.
A nearby bartender and a paramedic immediately rushed over to her, where they found she had no pulse and was turning blue. She is reportedly listed in critical condition at this time. The bartender, Kate Bondurant stated, “Within a few minutes we got her pulse back. A few minutes later we got her breathing on her own again. Besides the internal bleeding causing problems, we were able to keep her breathing on her own for the next 5 minutes.” Farmer was rushed to an area hospital by responding emergency medical services (EMS) teams for treatment of her serious injuries. She is currently listed in critical condition.
A full investigation is currently underway.
