Minnesota 18-wheeler accident attorneys alerts- A semi truck and SUV crash left three people dead.

Minneapolis, MN—Three people died in Dakota County after a semi truck hauling beer T-boned a sports utility vehicle as it was making a wide U-turn. The deadly wreck occurred on Monday, April 26, 2010 around 12:20 p.m., just south of Vermillion at the intersection of County Road 47 and Goodwin Avenue, as reported by Kare11.com.

According to the Dakota County Sheriff’s Office, a semi truck was following a SUV on County Road 47, when it appeared that the SUV slowed its speed to make a wide U-turn. The semi truck subsequently T-boned the SUV, causing it to roll into a ditch alongside the road. One occupant of the SUV was ejected as a result of the crash. Responding emergency crews reported that all three occupants of the SUV were tragically killed in the wreck. The driver of the SUV was identified as Lucila Gutierrez Rojas, 42, of Hastings. Her passengers were Norma Sanchez-Navarrete, 24, and Eduardo Bautista-Navarrete, 27, both of St. Paul.

The driver of the semi, Trevor Hubbard, 30, of Northfield, was not seriously injured in the wreck. It was not reported if the driver sought any medical attention for his injuries. Police officials are withholding the identities of the victims involved in the wreck at this time. A full investigation is currently underway. No citations were issued nor were any arrests made at this time.
