Missouri City, MO– Firefighters were called to the Missouri City Power Plant to rescue a worker who was trapped 60 feet in the air with a leg injury on Tuesday, July 27, 2010. The emergency rescue call was made at around 9:45 a.m. at the Missouri City Power Station at 22225 N.E. Missouri 210, just west of Missouri City, reports the Kansas City Star.

Independence Power and Light five-year employee, Randy Reynolds was reportedly preparing to fix some equipment, when he somehow got his foot suck and fell as he climbed some ladders and went through a door to reach the place he needed to do the repair. During that fall, Reynolds injured his leg.
