Provo, UT—Four high school football players were rushed to the hospital following a SUV rollover in the school’s parking lot. The Springville High School football players were reportedly “spinning donuts” when the vehicle overturned around 11:37 a.m., on Tuesday, July 27, 2010, reported The Salt Lake Tribune.
According to police officials, the four football players had just finished practice when they began “ripping donuts” in the high school’s parking lot. The Jeep then rolled over, ejecting two of the players out of the SUV.
Teammates who witnessed the accident rushed over to help the injured and called 911. All four players were taken to the Utah Valley Regional Medical Center in Provo. One of the players, identified as Brandon Curtis, is in critical condition and is on life-support. Another teammate, Estafon Ramos was listed in good condition.
By late afternoon, two other players identified as Zach Pauckett and Kaleb Cook, were released from the hospital.
Police officials are investigating the rollover accident.
