Kent County, MI—A motor vehicle collision (MVC) involving a stopped pickup truck with a car and pickup truck hauling a hay wagon left a teen with critical injuries Tuesday, August 2, 2010 in Sparta Township, Mich. The injurious accident occurred after the driver of the pickup pulled onto the side of the road with a flat tire, according to information provided by MLive.com.
Reports indicated an unidentified 28-year-old male driver was traveling southbound on Fruit Ridge Avenue NW when he was forced to pull over after getting a flat tire around 2:15 a.m. The motorist drove his pickup onto the shoulder of the road, while part of the hay wagon it was towing obstructed Fruit Ridge Ave., just south of 13 Mile Road.
