Boston, MA—The family of a victim involved in the two-vehicle crash with Tom Brady, claims that the media frenzy over the football star has basically left the injured man forgotten, as he has undergone several surgeries following the wreck, as reported by Boston.com.

As previously reported in “Boston Auto Accident: Patriots’ Tom Brady involved in Car Crash in Back Bay,” the crash was severe enough that fire crews had to use the Jaws of Life to free an unconscious back seat passenger in the other vehicle.

A 1997 Mercury Villager minivan reportedly ran a red light at the intersection of Commonwealth Avenue and Gloucester Street, subsequently slamming into Brady’s Audi.

A passenger in the van, Rogerio Rodrigues, 49, of Fall River was rushed to Brigham and Women’s Hospital for treatment. Rodrigues has since undergone a series of surgeries for a broken back, broken nose and other injuries. He is still being hospitalized since the Thursday, September 9, 2010 accident.

The family of the victim is outraged that he has seemingly been forgotten amongst the media frenzy.

The driver of the van, Rodrigues’ son, Ludgero, 21, was cited for the accident and was issued a $150 fine.
