San Mateo County, CA—A woman was tragically killed after she was involved in a collision with a big-rig while riding her bicycle on Alpine Road near the Portola Valley. The fatal traffic collision occurred on westbound Alpine Road near Interstate 280 at around 3:40 p.m., on Thursday, November 4, 2010, as reported by the San Jose Mercury News.
