This is such a tragic event that could have been prevented. I’m surprised there wasn’t more security, which could have stopped the shooting. In all, twenty people were shot and six of them died as a result, including a 9-year-old girl. The mass shooting also left U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords clinging to life after she was shot during a “Congress On Your Corner” event at a busy Tucson supermarket.
