A surprising number of patients with the condition say they are happy, despite being paralyzed and having to communicate mainly by moving their eyes,” reported The Washington Post. Wow, this study really surprises me. I don’t think I could live a fulfilled life while suffering from locked-in syndrome. But, I’m glad the victims are happy.
