The drop in teenage pregnancies should be credited to the ongoing unconventional educational TV shows of “Teen Mom” and “16 and Pregnant.” While many will argue that these shows “glorify” pregnancy, I believe differently. These shows target teenagers and show the reality of having children, not the “fun parts.” If MTV came out with a show about teenage drug use, I think we will also begin to see a decline in that as well.
