Hollywood, CA — I guess you could say Charlie Sheen is “winning?” He has reached a settlement in his $100 million lawsuit against Two and a Half Men creator Chuck Lorre and Warner Brothers Television after being fired from the show earlier this year, reports US Magazine.
Sheen filed the lawsuit last March, in order to collect compensation for the eight canceled episodes from Two and a Half Men’s eighth season. The show was put on a hiatus after Sheen was released from the show.
“Warner Bros. Television, Chuck Lorre and Charlie Sheen have resolved their dispute to the parties’ mutual satisfaction. The pending lawsuit and arbitration will be dismissed as to all parties. The parties have agreed to maintain confidentiality over the terms of the settlement,” reads a statement from the studio issued Monday.
While the exact terms of the settlement have not been made public, TMZ.com reports that Sheen will receive an immediate payment of $25 million. This sum is expected to reach to an upwards of $100 in syndication profits during the next decade.
