I don’t know if I really buy into this study, because of our sexually charged society; but, I hope teens are having less sexual encounters. As I have said before, I credit MTV’s reality TV shows about teenage sex and pregnancy–like “Teen Mom” and “16 and Pregnant.” These TV shows give a very real look at the consequences of sex and becoming a young mom. I believe that the more we educate our youth about the dangers of sex and how to use protection, the more we will see these trends decrease.
