The raw milk recall was issued after the Washington State Department of Agriculture’s (WSDA) monthly sampling revealed that toxin-producing E. coli was present in the sample.
Severe diarrhea, stomach cramps and bloody stool typically appear after three to four days of exposure of E. coli. If you are experiencing the signs of an E. coli infection, you should contact your health-care provider.
Frisia Dairy and Creamery, along with WSDA, is investigating the cause of the E. coli contamination.
Those who have purchased the recalled products can return them for a full refund.
Questions regarding the recall can be directed to Frisia Dairy and Creamery at 360-264-8668.
