Kentucky – A 17-year-old sexual assault victim may face jail time for tweeting about the individuals who pleaded guilty to assaulting her. As reported by The Courier-Journal, Savannah Dietrich may be charged with contempt after naming her purported attackers on the social networking site, Twitter, which the attorneys for the assailants say is a violation of a court order.

As noted in the report, Dietrich says she was sexually assaulted by the boys at a party last year.

Dietrich, who is stated to have, along with her parents, consented to waive confidentiality and speak to the news source regarding her case, is quoted by The Courier-Journal as stating, “So many of my rights have been taken away by these boys… I’m at the point, that if I have to go to jail for my rights, I will do it.”

The two boys reportedly had yet to be sentenced at the time of the report.
