Philadelphia – Filmmaker Tyler Perry is being sued by an author who alleges that he stole the plot for his 2012 movie, “Good Deeds,” from her 2007 book. As reported by Reuters, writer Terri Donald, who also uses the pseudonym TLO Red’ness, claims Perry’s film was based on her book “Bad Apples Can Be Good Fruit.”

“Good Deeds” earned a reported $35 million at the box office following its release.
