Washington – Anti-doping officials are seeking an admission of guilt under oath from cyclist Lance Armstrong regarding his purported use of performance enhancing drugs throughout his career. As reported by The Associated Press (AP), U.S. Anti-Doping Agency officials are seeking the admission prior to considering to lift a lifetime ban from sanctioned cycling events.
A former teammate of Armstrong, Frankie Andreu, is quoted by the AP as stating in agreement with the official’s request, “Lance knows everything that happened… He’s the one who knows who did what because he was the ringleader. It’s up to him how much he wants to expose.”
Armstrong is set to appear in a televised interview with Oprah Winfrey on her OWN network, which will air Thursday and Friday.
