U.S. Cities That Welcome Remote Workers – Do You Know Which Cities and Towns Pay You to Move There?

During the pandemic, the demand for remote work or work from home was at peak levels. And the trend continues in post-pandemic as well. If you are a remote worker and looking to relocate, then here is the list of 8 cities and towns in the United States that pay you to move there and work remotely.

Natchez, Mississippi

If you want to relocate somewhere with the historic charm Natchez, Mississippi might be the best place for people who has the historic river town in the southwest of Mississippi, which makes it worth your while. It is mostly suited for the remote workers interested in small-town life. They can work remotely and purchase a home valued at $150,000 or more in Natchez or the Adams country area.

In any kind of exchange, the city will offer them $2,500 in relocation expenses and $300 per month for one year to further cover their cost of living.

Newton, Iowa

Need a small-town life but don’t want to be too far from a city or airport? So the answer might be Newton, Iowa. People need to move out of the city with a $10,000 incentive for buying or building a house in 2021. People receive $10,000 if they buy or build a home valued at $180,000 or more and $5,000 for a home worth $100,000 to $179,999,99. They also receive a “Get to know newton” package valued at $2,500.

Northwest Arkansas

The corner of Arkansas has seen a surge in positive PR over the past decade. The region, to be a home for the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville and Wal-Mart global headquarters in Bentonville, had a plethora of outdoor activities, is an increasingly impressive food scene, and several world-class art museums which were founded and funded by Alice Walton; Her initiative to draw young people and families to the region by offering $10,000 to remote workers who moved there.

The northwest Arkansas council launched the $1 million life works in November 2020. In the first round of the program, about 26,000 applicants were selected. The competition was fierce, but the applications were still open.

Shoals, Alabama

Do you love the south? If you are interested in moving to the shoals, it can be easily made by $10,000, which is to northern Alabama and yet includes many other cities of Florence, muscle shoals, Sheffield, and Tuscumbia. If you need to apply, you need to be older than 18 and make more than $52,000 in a year and must be self-employed or should be able to work remotely and be able to relocate within six months. People who want a slower-paced way of life but never fear this opportunity would be the best.

Topeka, Kansas

This capital city 40%of the workforce that lives outside the Shawnee country where Topeka is located, its effort more to draw more commuters into the city and to attract job applications.

Choose Topeka, and the employers in the city are offering up to $16,000 to people who relocate there. If you want to live in the Shawnee country within the first year, you need to buy a house there!

Tulsa, Oklahoma

In 2018 they offered remote workers $10,000 to move to Tulsa. In February, the organization announced that it would offer $10,000 in a lump sum payment if the people used it towards the down payment on the house in the Tusla area. It consists of a population of about 400,000, which is the biggest city on the list.
